How long we keep information
The information you provide is used by us to provide health and wellness advice. National NHS and GMC records management guidance states that we must retain this information until the patient’s 25th birthday or 26th if young person was 17 at conclusion of treatment, or 8 years after death. After this retention period has elapsed, the information will be destroyed securely in line with ICO guidance.
For direct consumer marketing, such as newsletters and free-to enter competitions:
We will keep the information you provide on our systems for a period of 15 years, unless you tell us you would like it to be removed. We will periodically review the data we hold, and erase or anonymise it when no longer needed.
